This L’Oréal Korea project was entrusted to RCI Global Services.
Urban Decay is a US make-up company founded in 1996 and was purchased by L’Oréal in 2012. Its most well known products are the NAKED make-up palettes.
The challenge for this project was to implement RCI’s OMS solution, OMS Pro, for L’Oreal Korea in 2015. The OMS aimed to manage different brands for the group.
The solution provided for this project was OMS Pro, fully integrated with Salesforce Commerce Cloud. The OMS system also had to include the location of the system as the currency, the tax, the date or the language. To propose a large range of products on the E-commerce website, complex specific features had to be considered to implement skin care products.
In the end, this was the first E-commerce standalone project in Asia-Pacific for L’Oreal Korea to support its band expansion (Urban Decay). OMS pro was also fully integrated with Salesforce Conmerce Cloud, 3PL, WMS, POS ERP and CRM (IT ecosystem). With the OMS, it is also possible to manage online orders for the other brands belonging to L’Oréal Korea as Kiehl’s, Lancome or Clarisonic.
